AKM Side-Folding Wood Stock - Exotic Black Limba

The AKM Side-Folding Wood Stock – Exotic Black Limba by Nord Armory combines understated elegance with rugged performance. Designed for AKM-pattern rifles equipped with a 5.5mm side-folding trunnion, this premium stock delivers natural warmth and distinctive character — without sacrificing mechanical reliability.

Black Limba, native to tropical West Africa, features a warm golden-brown base interlaced with flowing black and grey streaks. Highly valued by luthiers and custom craftsmen, its visual character is both bold and organic. Beyond aesthetics, its excellent weight-to-strength ratio makes it well-suited for durable, field-ready rifle furniture applications.

At its core, the assembly incorporates a hardened steel 5.5mm side-folding hinge, steel butt plate, and a smooth push-button locking mechanism. The integrated locking and mounting components are precision-machined from hardened steel to ensure secure engagement, consistent alignment, and long-term durability under repeated operation.

Designed with proper side rail clearance for optic mounts, the stock remains fully compatible with modern AKM configurations. The side-folding system provides compact storage and improved transport convenience while maintaining structural integrity and shooting stability when deployed.

Whether configured for range use, collection display, or a professional loadout, the Exotic Black Limba variant offers something few others can: naturally unique grain patterns paired with dependable, steel-engineered performance — crafted to meet Nord Armory standards.
