AKM Side-Folding Wood Stock - Exotic Wenge

The AKM Side-Folding Wood Stock – Exotic Wenge from Nord Armory is a fusion of tactical precision and refined woodcraft. Designed for AKM-pattern rifles equipped with a 5.5mm side-folding trunnion, this premium stock adds depth, presence, and uncompromising strength to any rifle platform.

Wenge, a hardwood native to Central Africa, is revered for its deep espresso-brown tone accented by subtle black streaking. Its naturally dark character delivers a sleek, modern aesthetic that complements both classic and contemporary AKM builds. Exceptionally dense and resistant to wear, Wenge provides outstanding durability for demanding field use while maintaining a striking visual profile.

At its core, the assembly incorporates a hardened steel 5.5mm side-folding hinge, steel butt plate, and a responsive push-button locking mechanism. Precision-machined steel mounting and locking components ensure secure engagement, consistent alignment, and long-term reliability under repeated operation.

The side-folding system offers compact storage and easier transport while maintaining structural integrity and shooting stability when deployed. Designed with proper side rail clearance, it remains fully compatible with optic-mounted AKM configurations.

Whether building a stealth-inspired platform or a distinctive showpiece, the Exotic Wenge variant delivers a commanding balance of luxury hardwood character and dependable mechanical performance — engineered to meet Nord Armory standards.
