AKM Wood Upper Handguard - Exotic Padauk

The AKM Wood Upper Handguard - Exotic Padauk by Nord Armory is a true statement piece for AKM-pattern rifles, combining rare material beauty with exceptional function. Handcrafted from genuine African Padauk-a prized exotic hardwood native to West Africa-this handguard boasts a vibrant orange-red hue and dramatic grain patterns that set your build apart from the ordinary.

Padauk is celebrated for its remarkable durability, stability, and natural resistance to rot and insects, making it an ideal choice for both demanding field use and collectors seeking something extraordinary. Its density rivals that of white oak, yet it remains easy to finish to a smooth, comfortable surface, ensuring both resilience and lasting comfort.

Engineered for a precise fit over the AKM gas tube, the handguard includes upper spring hardware for a secure, rattle-free installation. Its robust construction is designed to withstand the heat of extended firing sessions, while the vivid Padauk finish brings a touch of the extraordinary to your rifle.

Whether you’re assembling a showpiece, upgrading for performance, or simply want your AKM to stand out, the Exotic Padauk upper handguard by Nord Armory offers a rare blend of visual impact and rugged reliability-crafted for shooters who demand the exceptional.
