PTR 51P BR – 7.62X51MM – PISTOL WITH COLLAPSIBLE BRACE

The PTR 51P BR – 7.62×51mm Pistol with Collapsible Brace is a factory-configured, roller-delayed platform engineered to deliver rifle-caliber capability while retaining pistol classification at the point of sale. Sold with an SBA4™ collapsible pistol brace installed, the 51P BR provides additional rear support while maintaining a non-stock configuration.

The platform operates using PTR’s proven roller-delayed blowback system, producing a smooth recoil impulse and reliable cycling with full-power 7.62×51mm ammunition. A heat-treated, full-auto profile bolt carrier enhances durability and supports sustained operation. The semi-automatic action is host-ready for use with NFA-registered auto sear packs where legally applicable. The overall finish consists of black powder coating over Parkerizing for corrosion resistance and long-term wear protection.

The 8.5″ stress-relieved, heavy-contour barrel features a 1:10″ right-hand twist and is threaded 5/8×24, supporting common muzzle devices. A 6.9″ steel Picatinny rail allows optic mounting without altering the traditional polymer handguard configuration, preserving classic PTR ergonomics while supporting modern optics.

With the brace extended, the 51P BR measures approximately 32.5″ in overall length and collapses to approximately 30″. The pistol weighs 9.07 lbs unloaded and feeds from 20-round aluminum magazines. The trigger pull is set between 9–10 lbs for consistent operation. Each pistol ships in a polymer case with foam padding and includes one magazine and a trigger cable lock.
