PTR VENT 2 – 9X19MM SUPPRESSOR

Purpose-Built for 9mm PCCs and Subguns

The PTR VENT 2 applies the VENT® architecture specifically to 9mm platforms, with an emphasis on PCCs, subguns, and roller-delayed firearms. Its 3D-printed titanium body weighs 8.9 ounces without the mount, limiting front-end weight while retaining the internal volume of a full-size 9mm suppressor. That combination is particularly relevant on compact firearms, where suppressor weight and balance can become noticeable quickly.

High-Flow PIP Architecture

Purposely Induced Porosity® is integrated into the VENT 2's monolithic titanium structure to manage expanding gases through controlled porous structures and flow paths. Rather than trapping gases entirely behind a highly restrictive baffle system, the architecture is designed to maintain greater gas flow while still providing substantial sound reduction. On semiautomatic 9mm platforms, reduced pressure accumulation can help limit the additional gas and ejection-port signature that can accompany more restrictive suppressors.

On PEW Science's specified HK SP5-A2 test host with an 8.9-inch barrel and 147-grain subsonic ammunition, the VENT 2 recorded a composite Suppression Rating™ of 62.7. The result is configuration-specific, but it supports the VENT 2's role as PTR's dedicated high-performance PCC and subgun suppressor rather than simply a scaled-down rifle model.

Alpha-Mount Versatility

The VENT 2 uses a 1.125x28 Alpha mounting interface and includes a 1/2x28 direct-thread adapter. The architecture provides access to compatible mounting solutions for different 9mm hosts, while the suppressor's internal booster-cage design also supports configurations intended for appropriate pistol applications. Its approved caliber range extends beyond 9x19mm to .38 Special, .357 Magnum, and subsonic .300 Blackout within PTR's specified host and barrel requirements.
